About me.
I am Magdalena, a photographer in my thirties, and photography has been a part of my life since childhood. When I was 10 years old, my grandparents gave me my first camera. It wasn’t anything special — just a simple one — but I took it everywhere with me while travelling and started capturing the world as I saw it.
Over the years, photography became a natural way for me to observe and understand my surroundings. I have experience with film cameras, traditional photo development, and later digital photography.
I am especially drawn to landscapes, architecture, and macro photography — anything that reveals details that are often invisible at first glance. My goal is to encourage viewers to slow down and notice what is usually overlooked.
At the same time, I have worked on a variety of projects, including children’s portraits, event photography, boxing events, reggae parties, family sessions, and weddings. Each experience has helped me develop a more flexible and observant approach.
I am currently studying Photography and Video at De Montfort University in Leicester, where I continue to develop both my technical skills and creative vision. My goal is to combine photography with another passion of mine and build a future where creativity and stability work together. In the long term, I dream of living closer to nature, surrounded by inspiring landscapes, where I can continue creating and sharing my work.
